Objectives

The conference programme is a combination of keynotes, spotlights, seminars, presentations, showcases and discussions that:

• Provide support to the teaching profession for the implementation of Curriculum for Excellence
• Provide direction and support for Scottish education and inspire leadership at all levels
• Celebrate and share innovative and good practice in teaching and learning
• Encourage and stimulate effective integration of ICT in schools and / or educational settings introducing learning professionals to the tools and professional development opportunities available through Glow
• Create a platform to provoke thinking and debate on current and future educational matters
• Enable a new generation of teachers and / or practitioners to maximise and realise their career aspirations and potential.

The objectives of the Scottish Learning Festival contribute to the achievement of the Scottish Government’s National Outcomes;

• Our young people are successful learners, confident individuals, effective contributors and responsible citizens.
• We are better educated, more skilled and more successful, renowned for our research and innovation.

LTS remains committed to delivering a distinctive event in the education calendar for all educational developers to meet, share and celebrate good practice in learning, teaching and educational management across all levels.
